The original constructor keeps the display awake while pictures are shown.

The renderer as a player uses it: finished images go into window's image view, on the main thread, through the main queue.
Parameters
convert
converts a frame to tightly packed RGBA, one byte per component, no row padding.
keepDisplayAwake
whether the display stays awake while pictures are shown, and for two seconds after the last one (#238), which a Mac otherwise lets sleep in the middle of a film.
