FOLD
Folds the picture round the middle into six mirrored wedges, the way a kaleidoscope does.
Each pixel reads from the matching point in the first wedge, so whatever is drawn anywhere is repeated six times round the centre and refolded frame after frame. It keeps its distance from the middle while it does it, so a centred drawing stays centred. Mirroring into one quarter of the screen instead would drag any figure into a corner.
