What the audio sink reports as handed over but not yet audible.

Diagnostic, not a correction. The clock is anchored to the instant the device says a specific frame became audible, so nothing needs this to keep time; it is here because it is the number that explains a device holding an enormous buffer. Read audioLatencyQuality beside it: a sink that cannot measure honestly says so rather than reporting a plausible zero.
