loadAsyncRuntime

Fetches one asynchronous codec module and creates a runtime that owns it. Every call creates a new runtime with a module of its own, also for the same addresses. The page's module of load and attach is not used and not replaced.

The module is kite-jspi when the engine has JavaScript Promise Integration and artifacts names one, and kite-asyncify otherwise. A module that fails to load or to validate fails this call. The other address is never tried instead.

Throws

with FFmpegError.Unsupported when artifacts names only kite-jspi and the engine cannot run it, or when the address serves a plain kite.mjs.
